High Point man arrested for murder

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A man was arrested after police said he shot and killed another man at a home Saturday morning in High Point.
Weldon Lorenzo Teasley, 35, of High Point, is accused of shooting and killing Judarius Jamal Quick around 2:18 a.m. at 516 Manley Street.
Police said they were called to the home in reference to a disturbance and heard the gunshot as they arrived. The shooting took place at Teasley’s listed address.
Teasley was arrested at the scene and charged with first degree murder. He was placed in the Guilford County Jail under no bond and has court Monday.
No other information was released. The case is still under investigation.
