Who will get the Miss North Carolina Teen and Miss North Carolina USA 2010 crowns? Judges from several major TV networks will make that decision this weekend in High Point.

The pageant kicks off Friday, November 5 at the High Point Theatre with preliminaries. The crowing of Miss North Carolina Teen and Miss North Carolina USA will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The History Of Belly Dancing

Did you ever want to learn how belly dancers come up with those moves? Well, the wait is over.

Dance Instructors from the Twisted Dance Studios in Greensboro will talk about the history and current trends of belly dancing. Plus, if you arrive early you'll see a mesmerizing belly dance performance.

The free history lesson and dance will take place at The High Point Library on Thursday October 21, from 6:00 p.m.- 7:45 p.m. No preregistration is required. For more information contact Alicia Smith Moore at (336) 883-3298.
